I'm a thirty something artist, married, have two doggies, and have been a blog junkie for years...a blog reading junky that is. I decided I had some things I wanted to share with my fellow blog reading junkies so here I am. This blog will document how I plan to makeover our home, recipes I like, and whatever else invades my brain. Oh, one more thing I should mention. I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Swedish. Furniture, clothing, meatballs, you name it. It all started with a way over due library book when I was in 6th grade called "Come Along to Sweden". I looked at the book everyday and wished to be transported to the land of reindeer and lingonberries!

The name Hem Stil comes from the two Swedish words for Home and Style.
